SUMMARY/PLOT:

The movie is set in the future where everyone lives and works in the virtual world/game. The movie shows the competition between the big corporate tech company and a young kid and his friends to find the Easter egg in the game that assures economic dominance to the winner .

MY REVIEW:

The movie is a of the genre Sci-fi/Adventure which is an adaptation of the book of the same name written by Ernest Cline.

The movie is directed by Steven Spielberg .The movie has one of the best visual effects in movies yet seen .The visual effects is so good that it immerses you into the movie totally .

The Pop-Culture theme of the book is perfectly adapted in the movie with lots of references to the most iconic movies ,music ,games ,characters ,comics ,etc. The movie is full of of Easter eggs hidden on the screen only for the viewer to find out.

The awesome acting of the cast including Tye Sheridan ,Simon Pegg ,Olivia Cook, Ben Mendelsohn ,Mark Rylance paired with the stunning visual effects and the 90’s pop and rock music keep you glued to the screen until the very end.

The movie has high rewatchable value as every time you watch you find new references and Easter eggs in the movie.

The movie is a must watch for the lovers of the genre sci-fi ,who enjoy special effects and for the people who love the pop culture .
