SUMMARY/PLOT:
The movie follows the story of a woman who runs away from a hometown after stealing money from her workplace .She stops at a motel on her way to her boyfriend’s place with the money .Here she goes missing and her boyfriend and her sister set out to find her .
MY REVIEW:
The movie is a Horror/Psychological thriller with a very good and mind-bending story around it .
The movie is directed by Alfred Hitchcock who has also directed movies like Vertigo and The Birds .The incredible direction in this movie movie by him is impeccable .The level of detail in it with the character work is bar none in the movie .
The movie has a very intense story which keeps you at the edge of the seat and every time you feel you have figured out the plot of the movie its throws you in a twist .
The intense and iconic background makes the frightening and gives a horror vibe to it. Nevertheless it keeps you at the edge of your seat with a kind of jump scare like feel .
The story ,music and direction paired with the incredible acting of Anthony Perkins ,Vera Miles and John Gavin make its a masterpiece .
It is an incredibly thrilling movie which is a true classic in the genre of psychological thrillers and is definitely worth a watch.
