A great Crime/Drama with a stunning cast

SUMMARY/PLOT:
The movie is set in the 1950s Los Angeles where it follows the story of 3 main protagonists who are police officers each very different from each other and how their fates get intertwined as they try to solve a homicide case and how they unfold the truth behind it .
MY REVIEW:
It is a Crime/Drama whose screenplay is based on the novel by James Ellroy released in 1990 of the same name .
The movie is directed by the late Curtis Hanson who has directed great movies like 8 Mile ,Lucky You ,etc and television series like Too Big To Fail .He also won the Oscar for best adapted screen play for L.A. Confidential . He does the great job of independently showing the lives of the three protagonists and also bringing them together perfectly without a flaw . The overall story telling is done greatly done in the movie.
The movie as said before has great story telling which is complimented buy great camera work done in the intense scenes .The music score also enhances the experience of the movie greatly .The foreshadowing is gone with great artistry which is very subtle yet very obvious .The movie pace is also perfect for the genre .The movie does a great job unfolding the story and the case throughout the movie keeping you guessing and at the edge of your seats till the very end.
The movie has a great cast consisting of Guy Pearce ,Russell Crowe and Kevin Spacey who play the lead role in the movie .They do a great job in the movie with each of them giving a stunning performance .These great leads are supported by actors like Kim Basinger, James Cromwell, Danny DeVito, David Strathairn and few more who give stunning performance in their roles .Kim Basinger even won the academy for best supporting actress in a supporting role for this movie .
The movie is a great watch with a great reveal , incredible story telling great acting and a satisfying ending .
