How Great Is Revenant as A Movie is terms of Cinematography and the acting of the Actors.

THE REVENANT

SUMMARY/PLOT:

The movie is about a frontiersman who gets severely injured while leading his men to safety from the attacks from the Indians by being attacked by a large Grizzly bear. The movie follows the story of how he is left for dead by his fellow hunting crew and how he uses his skill and willpower to survive and go back for revenge on his crew member who betrayed him.

MY REVIEW:

The movie is an Western /Adventure movie which is inspired by a true story of Hugh glass and is the adaptation of the book of the same name which is a fictional retelling of the same story.

The movie is Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu who has also directed other award winning movies like Birdman. The direction is beautiful in the movie with beautiful camerawork from the very beginning .The intense 360 degree shots the zoomed out scenes capture the western aspect of the movie .

The cinematography of the movie is one of the best .The light and dark coloring contrasting with the snow and the wide shots capturing the loneliness in the wilds is totally mind-blowing. The chill and soothing background score with some intense music in some scenes are put in perfectly capturing the emotions .

The movie has an incredible cast consisting of Leonardo DiCaprio ,Tom Hardy ,Will Poulter ,Paul Anderson and many more great actors who’s acting is impeccable ,with each of the actors giving their best performance .

The movie is a great watch which is a feast for your eyes with its cinematography, camerawork and the incredible acting of the cast.
