Godzilla (2014): A perfect opening to the World Renowned reboot of a Great Franchise
GODZILLA

SUMMARY/PLOT:
Well the movie name suggest most of the plot but still… the movie follows the life of the character Ford whose life was set into chaos when a earthquake struck in Japan where he lived with his parents .It is later found out that it wasn’t earthquake which struck the island but a creature from the deep which was searching the radiation. After several years the creature starts causing havoc in the world .This causes Godzilla to responds from the depths of the ocean in order to fight and kill it.

MY REVIEW:
It is a Sci-fi/Action movie which is a reboot of Toho’s Godzilla Franchise.
The rebooted franchise’s first movie is directed by Gareth Edwards who is also well know for his other movies like Rogue One, Star Wars: The Last Jedi ,etc. The director does a great job of following the source material in the movie and keeping the origins and basics of the story close to original.
Its follows a great and intense story from the very beginning of the movie .The intense and massive action scenes are done perfectly ,balancing between the human and monster action scenes simultaneously giving enough screen time to each.
The movie has great visuals and CGI which is very important for such movies with gigantic monsters .The background scores also matches perfectly with the action sequences making it more intense and epic at the same time .The camera cuts done to show the different aspects of the action scenes are also done quiet well without disturbing the overall flow of the movie.
The cast is great consisting of Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe ,David Strathairn ,Elizabeth Olsen ,Aaron Taylor-Johnson ,etc. The actors do a great job with the acting .
The movie is a great one with big action scenes and is a great watch for people who also likes movies like Pacific Rim or Transformers .
